It’s easy to install all kinds of apps on your phone, but what happens when you no longer need them, or you want to clear off some space on your phone? Here’s how to uninstall apps from your Samsung Galaxy Note 5:

 

 

  1. From the home screen, open the Apps drawer (placed by default in the bottom row of icons).
  2. Tap and hold on the icon of the app you wish to uninstall.
  3. Drag to the top left of the screen where you see a trash can icon and the word Uninstall.
  4. Confirm that you wish to uninstall the app by tapping OK.

To delete multiple apps more quickly:

  1. From the home screen, open the Apps drawer (placed by default in the bottom row of icons).
  2. Tap Edit towards the top right of the screen.
  3. Tap the minus icon next to the icon of the app you want to uninstall.
  4. Confirm you want to uninstall the app, and continue the process for additional apps.
  5. Tap Done at the top of the screen when finished uninstalling.

Apps can be deleted using the Play Store as well.

  1. Launch the Play Store app.
  2. Open the menu using the menu button at the top left and tap on My Apps.
  3. Tap on the app you wish to uninstall, then tap the Uninstall button below the banner. Repeat for any other apps you wish to uninstall.
